Lübeck Sailing School has sold two motorboats with old marine diesel engines, replacing them with a smaller, lighter aluminium boat. The new engine is a more economical petrol engine. In the long term, electric motors are to be installed. However, at present it is not yet possible to run a smooth training operation with such motors.

Lübeck Sailing School offers courses for beginners and advanced sailors. Offers include sailing courses for children and adults, sailing trips on the Baltic Sea, radio licence courses and skipper training. This renowned sailing school in the Museum Harbour is a major advocate of sustainability and environmental protection. The preservation of waters and nature is of crucial importance for water sports. The company has opted to partner with LTM’s sustainability offensive and is taking many small steps towards sustainability.
